SKIING UNDER THE STARS

every Wednesday evening on the Olimpia 3 rink

If you want to experience the thrill of sliding on snow, wrapped in a white mantle that merges with the stars in the sky, come and discover night skiing on the Olimpia 3 slope.

Every Wednesday evening, from 7.30 p.m. to 10.30 p.m., a magic light is projected on the entire slope, capable of providing fabulous scenery and contemplating the vault of heaven, but also of observing, in the distance, the town of Cavalese shining with artificial lights.

For the occasion, the Baita tonda refuge is open every Wednesday evening, to delight you with tasty traditional dishes, delicious aperitifs and a refined selection of wines.

But there’s more, Olimpia 3 is just one part of the recognised Olimpia Slope, one of Trentino’s excellent ski resorts

If you are looking for pure adrenaline in the heart of the Dolomites, the Olimpia Sl ope is for you. Divided into three sections – Olimpia 1, Olimpia 2 and Olimpia 3 – this slope is unanimously recognised as one of the most exciting on the entire Alpine panorama.

The technical details that make it stand out:

  • Length: at 7,500 metres, it offers an endless spectacle of glittering snow and scenery. It provides the ideal challenge for experienced skiers looking for top performance.
  • Altitude difference: the slope covers an altitude difference of 1,400 metres. The Olimpia slope also offers many changes in gradient, alternating steep walls with flowing curves.
  • Perfect conditions: the slope is prepared using the best snowmaking technology to guarantee ideal conditions for the snow layer. Its northern exposure and the impeccable work of the snow groomers ensure excellent grip throughout the season.
  • From the Cima to the Fondovalle: The adventure begins at an altitude of 2,250 metres, at the Paion del Cermis, and quickly takes you up to an altitude of 850 metres, crossing a great variety of landscapes, where you can appreciate luxuriant woods, finally arriving near the Avisio river.
