Located on the panoramic summit of Alpe Cermis at an altitude of 2,250 metres, Rifugio Il Paion offers terraces with 360° views of the mountains. You can admire the Marmolada, the Pale di San Martino, the Brenta, the Cevedale and the Ortles group, the Ötztal Alps, the Sassolungo and the Sella. These are just some of the natural spectacles that can be enjoyed from up here.

The refuge offers a bar service and excellent self-service cuisine; during the winter, there are also two sandwich bars, a pizzeria and a gazebo with music. On the outdoor terrace, you can also enjoy excellent barbecued meat.
For those seeking a more refined experience, the Il Paion mountain hut welcomes its guests in the charming Sala Lagorai: here you can enjoy table service, choosing from a carefully prepared menu accompanied by an extensive wine list.

The meat on offer is locally sourced, coming directly from the “Limousine” cattle farm run by the refuge’s managers themselves. The wines are also produced on site: the vineyards, which cover about 4 hectares, are located in the beautiful Val di Cembra, a short distance from Val di Fiemme.
