The Lagorai mountain range is the longest in eastern Trentino and stretches 70 kilometres. A long stretch overlooks the Val di Fiemme and the Alpe Cermis, sinking its roots into this natural wonder. The wild woods embrace many paths suitable for everyone: from the most demanding to those suitable for families. Below you can discover the most suitable trekking routes.

Our advice for you

Bombasel Lakes with baby backpack

The youngest can have fun throwing stones into the water or counting little fish.

Splendid pools of blue water set among the dark rocks of the Lagorai can be easily reached with a walk of just under an hour. Grassy slopes, footpaths, and comfortable mule tracks with large stones are the scenery you cross. Children on your shoulders and a smile on your face, this hike promises a variety of landscapes and all the fun that being on the banks of a small lake ensures!

Bombasel Lakes

Crystalline lakes in the wild Lagorai chain

Easy high-altitude itinerary: the difference in altitude to reach the start is covered by the lifts, the hiker is left with all the pleasure of a rewarding hike constantly at 2000 metres and higher! A short passage with fixed rope and steps, but never with gaps or overhangs, makes the hike dynamic and exciting.

Ferrata Cermiskyline

The horizon drawn against the sky

CermiSkyline traverses wild and unexpected landscapes up to the summit of Castel di Bombasel. The more challenging passages of the Vertigo section can be circumvented with easier variants, making it a route that is also suitable for sporty and well-equipped families. Preceding the attack on the ferrata is a pleasant hike to the Bombasel lakes, a classic destination for Alpe Cermis enthusiasts.

In the footsteps of nature

In the magical forest between fauna and flora

An easy high-altitude route immersed in the scents of the forest, which leads to the discovery of information and curiosities on the fauna and flora of the area. Numerous exciting explanatory tables accompany you along the slopes of Alpe Cermis: they illustrate the animals that populate the Fiemme mountains and help you decipher the nature that surrounds you.

Dolomite Horizons

Where the panorama opens grandly onto the most beautiful peaks of the Val di Fiemme and the Dolomites

The itinerary, starting from Villaggio Cermis, 2000 metres above sea level, amidst numerous small wooden houses with pointed roofs, leads to the Paion del Cermis peak, 2200 metres above sea level. As you gain altitude, the view opens up grandly towards the most beautiful peaks of the Fiemme valley and its surroundings: the Latemar, the Catinaccio, the unmistakable outline of the Pale di San Martino, the Sella. Once at the top, thanks to the ‘Panoramio 360°’ observation point, a panel that allows you to identify and name the wonders that fill your gaze, you can see the Marmolada, Cevedale, Sassolungo and many other peaks.

A view of the Moena Valley

Discovering the authentic nature of the Lagorai

An itinerary of medium difficulty in a high-altitude forest of centuries-old stone pines. An unspoilt environment where the sounds of nature dominate in the background. From the crest of the To della Trappola ridge, the panorama opens up before you towards Val Moena, a jewel set in the Lagorai chain, with woods, pastures and rocky reliefs in the background.

SALANZADA AND ITS PASTURES

ON A BIKE OR WITH A PRAM
