CIUMBA ELECTRIC GUMBO in ‘Hotch Potch Blues’ – Dolomiti Ski Jazz

Ciumba Electric Gumbo are back from the US with a new EP, recorded at the legendary ROYAL STUDIOS in Memphis.

Surely one of the purest, truest and most passionate blues bands on the Italian scene, they present at DOLOMITI SKI JAZZ their new EP full of the ‘Visceral Sound’ of Chicago Blues and its legends: Muddy Waters, Little Walter, Willie Dixon, Howlin’ Wolf…

A personal touch, coming from the disparate collaborations in their now long career, transforms the classic blues into something more, which they like to call “Hotch Potch Blues”.

The artists are: Rob Daz (trumpet), Max Ravanellah (sousaphone), Luca Aliberti (vocals and guitar), Umberto Baggiani (blues harp) and Vincenzo Barattin (drums).
