DAWN AT RIFUGIO PAION OF CERMIS

An exciting experience on the snow of Alpe Cermis. In a winter morning, enjoy daybreak from Rifugio Paion of Cermis, one of the most panoramic mountain huts in Val di Fiemme.

The early birds will be welcomed with a rich, delicious breakfast with cakes, fruit, local cheese and cold cuts, smelling the perfume of fresh baked bread, waiting to enjoy a beaming light flood from the terrace of the mountain hut.

Pink, deep blue, orange: these are just a few nuances of the morning sky you can see while sitting outside next to a warming bonfire.
Enjoy this spectacular view before starting your day on the well-groomed slopes: you will be the very first one to ski on the flawless snow, what an exciting experience!

PROGRAMME

6.00 am - Meeting point at the Cavalese-Doss dei Laresi Cableway valley station. Don’t be late, because the lifts will be operating just for you and daybreak waits for no latecomers!

6.05 am - Start of the ascent on the panoramic, silent cableway, getting close to the fir trees tops. You will then continue by chairlift, surrounded by the darkness of the night which is about to end.

6.45 am - On the mountain top! You will look at the 360° landscape featuring the most beautiful mountains of the world: from Latemar to Rosengarten and Pale di San Martino, from the Lagorai Mountain Chain to the Brenta Dolomites. It’s now time for a well-deserved rich, delicious breakfast at Rifugio Paion, accompanied by the music of a violin. Your senses will be awakened by the smell of home-baked cakes and bread prepared by Michele, honey, jams, milk, yogurt and cheese from the local dairy factory Caseificio Val di Fiemme, but also cold cuts and speck by Tito - Il Maso dello Speck.

7.15 am - While tasting a little bit of this and that, go sit on the terrace next to a bonfire to enjoy the ever-changing colours of the newborn day, waiting for sunrise.

8.30 am – Put back on your helmet and skis, and enjoy your first descent of the day on a completely empty and well-groomed ski slope, starting from the top of Paion down to the valley: more expert skiers can ski on Olimpia I, II e III, with red and blue slopes for easier descents.

9.00 am - Well, feel free to go back to your hotel room now, but the snow is perfect and there are still many ski slopes to be discovered... don’t miss this opportunity!

Prices include lifts (2 cableways + chairlift) operating early just for the event, rich breakfast at the mountain hut, descent on the ski slope or with the lifts.

NB. Compulsory Covid-19 Super Green Certificate, except for under 12 or exempt people. The event will take place following to the actual Covid-19 regulations.

Payments to be done on the day of the event: lifts ticket at the ski-pass office at the departure of the lifts (if needed), breakfast directly at the mountain hut.
In case of bad weather, the event will be postponed or cancelled and participants will be informed by e-mail.
