Children are the heroes at CermisLandia!
The magical kingdom of CermisLandia is easy to reach by cable car. It is an amazingly fun playground that offers children the chance to play outdoors and spend unforgettable days in the company of Ornella and the Alpe Cermis educational team!

Many activities and surprises are organised for our little friends: "Little Rangers", "A Day as a Forester", "Nature on the Cermis". The purpose of these important educational activities for children is to let them spend their hours of fun in total freedom while they learn to appreciate and respect the nature of the Alpine habitat. Learning while playing in a truly magical kingdom: this is the paradise of CermisLandia, an explosion of fun for children… and why not? A moment of relax for their parents, too!

EDUCATIONAL ACTIVITIES

The activities are held on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays in the months of July, August and September.

"NATURE ON CERMIS"

Free time in a thousand different colours…

A light breeze amidst firs and Swiss pines, the colours and scents of Alpine flowers,  the restful sound of grazing animals… it's like something out of a film, isn't it?
But our little pals can really experience all of this for themselves "naturing" on Cermis with activity supervisors, enjoying the "Nature Path", the "Jjja Jaa Hoo" farm yard and "Panoramio Lagorai 360°".
So what does "naturing" mean? It means living nature to the full, loving it, respecting it  and above all realising that we are all a part of it … 

So get that backpack on, lace up those boots tightly and… Action!

"A DAY AS A FORESTER"  

In this increasingly technological and hectic world, why don’t we go back to the old world charm of the simplicity the mountains offer by building our toys by ourselves?

We can all become little foresters by spending a full day immersed in the pure air of the woods. We build, we play and we learn the jobs of not only the past, but of today, too. Under the guidance of experts, we work with our hands and build lots of useful items with the wood found in the forest.
With the guidance of an expert staff, both "little men" and "little women" will learn the trades and lifestyle of the old days. They will build a real Mountain Hut with trunks, will eat the characteristic forester’s lunch of "polenta and luganega" and will work side by side like a small mountain community. Children can learn to become real little foresters, acquiring skills through play such as the use of a cableway to transport timber. The "cava delle bore” skid road helps them to slide tree trunks downhill towards the valley floor just as in our grandparents’ time. The team transporting most timber downhill wins the Cermis “cube”. Then all of a sudden the woods are made magical by the appearance of a strange and amusing little fellow …

"LITTLE RANGERS" - Tracking the Bear ...

 
A real Cermis Ranger will do his best to satisfy your curiosity on a walk along the "adventure trail" leading through the thick forests of Lagorai. You and your pals will see just how many surprises lie in wait for you in the woods: from a squirrel spying you from behind a trunk, to an ancient tree telling of years past, to a smiling mushroom ... A small tuft of fur, a paw-print on the ground and suddenly … that noise! Now what wild animal does that remind you of? Maybe a little bear has just wandered by all on its own? 

Take a moment’s rest along the trail to recover: enjoy a tasty snack prepared by the Rangers with cakes, fruit of the forest treats and to quench your thirst a great elderberry juice … and who do you think will be eating honey?
Here your final test awaits you: give the right answers and if you were paying attention, you’ll be rewarded with a real “Cermis Ranger” certificate.
